An exciting social studies resource targeted for our 4th, 5th, and 8th grade classrooms is now available. The Northeast Georgia History Center is offering free, interactive, direct-to-classroom broadcasts of third- and first-person interpretive programs.


Through the Cottrell Digital Studios, classrooms are offered:

  • LIVE Character Meet and Greets with characters such as: George Washington, Harriet Tubman, Abraham Lincoln, John Ridge, Shanghai Brooks, and many more
  • Virtual Tours of: 18th and 19th Century Daily Life, Land of Promise Gallery Tour, Historic House and Building Tour
  • LIVE Program events, such as: DeSoto Expedition and Roman Legionaires

With the connection directions emailed to the teacher from the History Center.
